Installation of extension with default settings.

Is there a way to install the extension with specified default settings, maybe using a command line and specify a settings file as a command line parameter or something?

I don't think so.. but we keep the global settings file in the visual studio user data folders.. if you can find it you could overwrite after installation.. or look at the new work to allow a solution specific jslint file if that helps.

Thank you for your reply. The idea of overwriting the user settings file would work perfectly for me. Could you provide me the exact path to the user settings folder and the file name of the user settings file using Visual Studio 2010 on Windows 7? Also if you know the location in registry where this path is kept it would greatly help as well. Thanks in advance for your input.
